Fixing the world

Something is rotten in the United States of America.

We are living on the edge of an emotional knife. It’s not just the pandemic. We are mired in conflict. Our culture is in trouble. Comedians can’t be comedic. Half of us are scared to death that an errant word or misuse of a pronoun will land us in the crosshairs of the culture police. The other half is perpetually offended.

It’s time to change the narrative. We need to begin a fresh, different conversation. I wrote Franklin Rock to do just that. Franklin Rock’s themes of personal responsibility, kindness, generosity, minimizing violence, and a view of life that rises above fame, wealth, and power, are the topics I believe we should be discussing in our nation.

I need your help to get Franklin Rock into the national conversation. If you haven’t yet written a review of Franklin Rock on Amazon, please do so. It’s quick and easy. So far, the reviews for Franklin Rock have been excellent, 4.6 out of 5 on Amazon.

Please share Franklin Rock with friends and family. Whether it’s a Tweet, a Facebook or Instagram post, or some other method of communication, anything you are able and willing to do will be helpful and greatly appreciated.

I believe in this project. Together we can move the needle towards a gentler, kinder, and more peaceful nation. As Professor Niemeyer reminds Franklin, if you pay attention you can see the future in the past. Not everything in Franklin Rock is fiction.

Franklin’s mission is to fix the world. That should be everyone’s mission.

With my best wishes,

Mark
